Web Advertising vs Print Advertising

Web advertising is starting to outplay print advertising. Newpapers and magazines are now published on the Web and a person can even watch movies and television shows on some websites and youtube that contain commercial ads which are shorter than the ones on regular television.
The print advertisements cost way more and are not as high quality as the ones on the Web. The Web also allows advertisements to be animated and contain more graphics and color than print advertisements. They can also reach a wide audience and can be viewed more than once.
How are print advertisements going to outplay Web advertisements?
How are they going to maintain the interest of an audience?
How will they reach a larger audience?
Will the Web completely take over the advertising business?
How will the Web advertisements prosper in the future?

unfortunately for print advertising, i think in the future web advertising will take over most of the advertising segments. the one of the biggest benefit that web advertising has is that advertsers know exactly how many people have seen the ads and possible thier demographic and pycographic data as well. but we are still the generation which likes to hold our advertising in our hand to read. hmmmm... i think print has like 20 more years or so i would say.

It's hard to say if print advertising will ever go into extension or not. I really dont think it will. Print advertising, I think will always be around, it's just something that still works pretty good. I much rather read about something on a hard copy, rather than reading it on the computer. But who's to say in another 50 years, our kids might be learning about newspapers and magazines, as we learn about telegraphs today.
